Wolfies Pub - Pittsburgh
Wolfies Pub
Description
Wolfie’s Pub in Pittsburgh dishes up reliably excellent pub fare — standout burgers, grilled cheese, fries, a crispy hot-chicken sandwich, tomato bisque and fall-off-the-bone ribs — alongside a well-curated craft and local beer selection. The stylish, lively space hosts live music, DJs and themed pop-ups, while friendly, knowledgeable staff deliver quick, accommodating service. Prices are reasonable and the spot suits families, tourists and groups, though a few menu items can be hit-or-miss. Overall, a spirited choice for casual dining, happy hour and nightlife.
Feedback
Wolfies Pub is pretty new and I wanted to stop and watch the scene. The decor is very nice and the bar was quite crowded around the happy hour. The bartender was very familiar with her menu and helped answer all my questions. I asked what was best to try my first time there and she hit the pub hot chicken sandwich. The menu describes it as buttermilk pickle roasted chicken breast, Chipotle Mayo and Pickles. The chicken was super crispy between a warm bungalow and the Chipotle Mayo was a great addition! They did a special thing about all local beers. I noticed that she also saw Stoney 's Stoney's light on design, so I'm going down one of everyone. I noticed they had an area for live music that is great. I have to stop at the weekend and catch a band.
When entering the pub, the Greeter was asked to n Seated us. The server Ana was pleasant Accommodating. Pleasant workers everywhere. The bar server was also helpful. We had the pubburger. I came across this charming little bar while exploring Pittsburgh as a tourist, and I was utterly impressed. During my visit, the pop-up bar, Wolfie's, had a Game of Thrones theme, which I absolutely loved! The attention to detail was remarkable, and the drinks were fantastic!
Really big burgers and the French french were also fair prices for the city center of Pittsburgh. Laura, my waitress, was very friendly and attentive.
We discovered this gem during our first trip to Pittsburgh, and what a delightful surprise it was! The staff, including the bartender, were incredibly friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable, and the food was outstanding! The tomato bisque is hands down the best I've ever tasted, and the sandwiches are both unique and delicious. I can’t wait to come back!
