Wings Over - Pittsburgh
Wings Over
Description
At this Pittsburgh eatery, culinary experiences are a rollercoaster. While some patrons rave about the meaty, tender wings and delightful sauces, others have voiced disappointment over overcooked and oversalted dishes. The spicy chicken sandwiches and sides like fries and tater tots often miss the mark, with claims of greasiness and poor execution. However, friendly and attentive staff often enhance the dining experience, making it worthwhile. A little patience is advised on busy weekends, but overall, this restaurant garners a loyal following for its standout wings, supportive service, and potential for a delicious meal if approached wisely.

Such a great wings spot that offers a huge variety of sauces and combinations! I highly recommend trying if you like wings and spicy foods. Everything tastes wonderful and something great that will make you want to try it again and again. I'm very impressed with the efforts at this restaurant. The wings are very soft and not dry like some places, which is a huge plus. Check it out and you will not regret it
So it is a great place to have your hand breaded wings. The waffle fries are ok, but there was to much Cajun seasoning. The wings are great and the staff was good. It was in 20 minutes as stated.
Lovely people work there. Huge wings, decent price. Not cooked crispy enough for me and too much sauce...just my opinion. I will return and mention that to them. Clean facility from what I could see.
Excellent customer service! Our cashier was fantastic—she answered all our questions honestly and even let my cousin sample two sauces she was interested in. She made sure we had everything we needed in our bag and that our order was correct. Unfortunately, the food was just average. I had to cook the chicken a bit more once I got home, and the tater tots didn’t hold up well during the trip; they turned out a bit soggy. On the bright side, the brownie was delicious! I would definitely consider going back to give it another shot, but this time I’d make sure to request that my chicken be fried for an extra minute or two.
The spicy chicken sandwich looked nothing like the picture. While the bread was nice and the chicken was tender, the spiciness was merely a thick layer of sauce that was overly greasy and obviously packed with calories. The fries were mediocre, and the chicken tenders were a letdown, being excessively covered in sauce. I even overheard someone saying that the wings were frozen. To make matters worse, I had to wait at least 20 minutes for my food, while several orders placed after mine were served much faster.
