What User doesn't like about Tupelo Honey Pittsburgh:
I was served by a larger server named Jazz. The cookies and blueberry jams were fantastic! However, the hollandaise sauce on the Eggs Benedict was overly lemony—not worth the price. I appreciate their efforts, but the quality control needs improvement. The fried chicken in the BLT was very dry, which was disappointing. Overall, it was a subpar experience. View all feedback.
I had the shrimp and grits. It’s one of my favorite dishes here! I also had the banana pudding for dessert. Excellent! Will return for sure!
Whenever I visit Pittsburgh, I always make it a point to stop by this restaurant for lunch. Their chicken and waffles are absolutely delicious, and they have an impressive bar selection. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the general manager, Michael, has always been incredibly polite and genuinely seems to care about the establishment. I highly recommend that anyone in the area give it a try.
The food was outstanding, especially the fried chicken, which was fantastic. The biscuits were exceptionally good and definitely worth the visit.
The quality of the food was disappointing. I received my fried chicken cold and lukewarm, so I had to send it back. Unfortunately, it took a long time to get a replacement, and by that point, we had to leave. The manager only offered a small discount off our bill after I asked twice.
