Nestled in Swissvale, The Triangle is a hidden gem renowned for its exceptional sandwiches. Patrons rave about the freshness of the bread and high-quality ingredients, particularly the provolone and mozzarella that elevate each hoagie. With an array of sizes—from the colossal Battleship to the more modest Destroyer—there's something for everyone. While the atmosphere exudes an old-school charm, service can be hit or miss, particularly with delivery orders. Despite some inconsistency, the sandwiches remain a must-try for anyone visiting Pittsburgh. The Triangle truly proves that a great sandwich does not require an upscale setting, resonating with locals and visitors alike.

Was User at Triangle Grill a mag?
Sometimes hard to get through on the phone and cash only, but their sandwiches are delicious. Recommend the classic battleship and the cheesesteaks. Skip the mayonaise if you have some at home as theirs is mediocre. View all feedback.

Oh my goodness, we stopped at a sandwich shop on our way to Kennywood. It was my first time hearing about this place. When we got back to the car with the sandwich, my jaw dropped. I shared it with two other adults and there was still some left over. Everything was incredibly fresh! The bread...oh my, the bread! I could eat it on its own. And the cheese was amazing too. I've ordered plenty of sandwiches in the past but I've never had fresh provolone and mozzarella on one like this before. Easily the best sandwich I've had since the pandemic! The triangle is a charming hidden gem!

The restaurant is still good, even though they didn't include breadsticks or olive oil.

The sandwiches and Mac salad were delicious! Just be aware that the bathroom is not very clean.

Pittsburgh classic sub! I grab one of these super battle ships when going to my dad's for a Steelers game.
