So delicious. We visit the melting pot once or twice a year because yes its expensive but its a wonderful treat. the best way to experience it is to go hungry and get the big night out meal. The salad is a good portion, the cheese fondue is excellent, the coq au vin cooking style delicious, (love the teriyaki steak) and the chocolate is wonderful. Its a nice relaxing meal to spend with friends or family, be prepared... View all feedback.
For those who complain about the service and portions know nothing about fondue. It is not meant to be a place where you go for a quick bite. It is meant to be an experience to enjoy rather than shoveling gigantic portions in your mouth. The service has always been excellent and they have been more than accommodating for special occasions. In fact, my birthday celebration was ruined last year by La Tavola on Mt. Washington. My husband felt bad and took me to Melting Pot the next day as a make up. The waitress went out of her way: flowers, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries to take home. The food is excellent with a variety of different sauces and seasonings to make each bite unique. Great restaurant for a special occasion or an extra special date night!
I always have a great experience at this melting pot. The service is great and it's a much needed treat. Can't wait to try out the new menu style.
Fun, fun, fun!!!. Yes it is expensive, yes it takes a long time, but the place is just so much fun!! The food is excellent, especially the cheese fondue and the dessert.
Most amazing food ever. I love the idea of cooking your own food! Very relaxing great service. I am writing this review while waiting for dessert so I am sure there is more greatness to come!
A lot of food cheese and especially chocolate are awesome. Went for my birthday dinner and it was a fun night out, especially for the kids who got a chance to cook and dip their food. The price for 2 four course adult menu and 2 kids menu with only a couple drinks was $180 (before tip) so that makes it a special occasion place for us. We're not big eaters so we could easily have gotten away with sharing one adult four course meal and 2 kids meals. That's what I wanted to order but there was a misunderstanding between the waitress and me. No big deal I'll just have to be more specific in the future. The food was really good loved the cheese course. Our favorite was the chocolate. They had a wonderful variety of things to dip in chocolate cheesecake, brownie, marshmallow, strawberries, banana. If you sign up on on the MP website for email updates they currently have a special for a free box of chocolate covered strawberries. We'll definitely return!
