The Bulldog Pub - Pittsburgh

This place is fantastic! I rarely give five stars, but I would definitely return here. I ordered the whirly bird-flavored wings, and my wife had the meatball hoagie. My wings were cooked to perfection, and her hoagie had a wonderful homemade taste.

The service was friendly, and the sweet potato chips were a nice touch. The burger was pretty average, and the spicy wings tasted similar to regular buffalo sauce.

During our visit, the kitchen was unfortunately closed, but it opened later, just after we were no longer able to place our food orders. However, our experience with Erin was quite positive. She managed all of the bartender duties on her own while handling a nearly full house watching a soccer match.

We were visiting from out of state and the menu on their website looked great. Unfortunately, they had a very limited menu which they've apparently done since COVID, but have not noted on their website. While we were a little disappointed about thelimited offerings, the food was fantastic. Wings, pizza, Italian (Italyinz) sandwich, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks -all great! Service was great. Overall, good experience.
