The food was decent, but felt a bit... read more Tender is closing, so I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. We went back for one last visit, but the menu was quite limited. The food was decent, but felt a bit low-quality for the price—like our potato skins, which were just commercial steak fries topped with sour cream and bacon. That's not the standard I would expect from a place like this. At first, our waiter was attentive and efficient, but halfway through our meal, he disappeared, and we had trouble getting our drinks and dessert. I'll miss the memories I've made there, but considering the current situation, I’m not surprised it’s closing.

At first glance, the menu seemed somewhat limited and straightforward, but the quality and flavors of the dishes demonstrated that focusing on what you do best is a wise approach. We kicked off our meal with the potato skins appetizer. I had anticipated a bit more than just potatoes topped with chives and a dipping sauce, but the flavors and textures were delightful. She ordered the burger, while I opted for the NY Strip. The burger was seasoned to perfection, boasting the best flavors I've ever tasted in a burger. Our server mentioned that a secret pub sauce contributes to its distinctive taste, and it truly was fantastic. My NY Strip was equally flavorful and cooked precisely to my request for rare. It was served with fingerling potatoes and an eggplant medley, which combined beautifully with the steak for a uniquely delicious experience that I loved. The selection of beers and cocktails is impressive as well. We were too full for dessert, though. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. Initially, I was a bit let down by the simplicity of the menu, but once I sampled the food and appreciated the quality and flavorful execution, I was completely convinced. The service was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and definitely plan to return.
