Contribute FeedbackTaj Mahal, a beloved Indian restaurant in Pittsburgh, has received a mix of reviews recently. While some diners have been disappointed with the quality of the food, specifically at the buffet with issues such as cold dishes, lack of variety, and spoiled items, others have praised the excellent buffet selection and friendly service. Despite some negative feedback, many customers still consider Taj Mahal to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, with fresh and delicious offerings that keep them coming back for more. Whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or prefer milder options, Taj Mahal aims to cater to all tastes while providing a warm and welcoming dining experience.
Tonight for dinner and was surprised to see a lot of vegetarian articles on the buffet. I try to eat healthier and plant-based, so that was a nice surprise. good food, good price. All they seem to drink is water, I asked for tee that was very expensive, but if that is my only complaining.
The best Indian food in pittsburgh! Saturday midday buffet is always crazy, but always a place. eating is ineffective!
I don't know how or why I forgot this jewel. huge portions, good eating and service. the prizes may appear high, but I never had a court that did not end at 2 meal times. if they don't like to make spicy Indian foods make sure they order accordingly, this place has some of the hottest dishes I had in life and they are absolutely delicious.
Eating is always fresh and plentiful. I guess most of the workers and male masks wear, but to be honest. that eating is so good I would probably go there even if they don't.
This food has always been delicious and consistent. I've been a fan since around 2008 or so. Not sure what other people are complaining about. I visited TajM before, during and after the covid lockdowns. the establishment stayed open and available even without the buffet probably required by health department. Eating off the buffet or off the menu TajM never disappoints. They are so good and so awesome to adjust their spicey food for even some of the schools to offer food to young kids (montessouri). today I stopped in and ate from the buffet.. fantastic food and service.. a familiar face, the lovely older gentleman was so gracious and kind. Best food, not just indian food, in pittsburgh. veg khorma, chicken tikka masala, and tandori chix are some of my favorites.. and the rice pudding and sweet honey balls for desert are always excellent.
