The kids always love the Mac and Cheese, and the service was quick since the line was short. However, my salad was disappointing (see photo with wilted lettuce and mediocre ingredients). The dining area was clean. It would also be helpful if the menu provided more details, like what’s included in the Baja Bowl.
I’m a big fan of Panera and visit their locations regularly. However, I was disappointed with the French Onion Soup in a bread bowl I had this past Sunday—the portion was noticeably smaller than in previous years, with barely a cup of soup in the small bread bowl. I would have preferred to order the soup in a regular bowl with a side of bread for better balance. My sister, on the other hand, loved her BBQ chicken salad and says it’s her go-to Panera order. We also tried several lemonade flavors but found them high in calories and unnecessarily caffeinated, so we didn’t enjoy those. If anyone from Panera reads this, I suggest keeping the flavors but making them sugar-free and caffeine-free. Despite these letdowns, the service was good, and parking was easy and plentiful at the Galleria location. Overall, I’ll continue coming to Panera for work meetings and convenience but now know what to avoid ordering next time.
I chose to visit Panera Bread after finding out Michel's Fish Market was still closed. Arriving at 10:30 AM, I thought they opened at noon. I ordered a soda and was pleasantly impressed by the beautiful setting and tidy interior. The cashier was also very helpful and kindly checked my rewards card for me.
Panera, situated in the Greentree Road Shopping Center in Scott Township, PA, maintains the same quality as the rest of the chain. The food is delicious, particularly the desserts.
