Lucca - Pittsburgh

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The seafood was excellent, and the atmosphere was both relaxing and delightful. Despite not having a reservation, we were accommodated. The intimate seating for two was perfect for a late Saturday lunch. We started with calamari as an appetizer, followed by an arugula salad and the frutti di mare dish with rigatoni. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the outside patio!

The appetizers were quite disappointing, but the main courses and dessert were fantastic. The bread on the bruschetta was tough and likely stale. On the other hand, the eggplant parmesan was exceptional, and the tiramisu was delightful. Overall, I would go back, but I would likely skip the appetizers next time.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! I absolutely love it! The food is consistently delicious, and I appreciate that they update their menu with the seasons. I've had food delivered and also dined in, and both experiences have been fantastic. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I keep ordering the seafood risotto because it’s just that good. The bruschetta is incredibly refreshing. I'm a bit disappointed that they've temporarily removed the crème brûlée from the menu. Without a doubt, it's the best Italian restaurant around!

In search of some good Italian in the city we ended up heading to Lucca. The food was amazing and the service was great! They give you bread with oil and balsamic vinegar which was a nice touch

Me and my girlfriend went for our three year anniversary and all I can say is we will be back!!! I ordered the short rib risotto and she got the shrimp and chicken Alfredo we also had the brussel sprouts for and appetizer and the strawberry champagne trifle for dessert, oh and we also ordered a bottle of wine. The food was out of this world and our waitress Dana was nothing but a compliment to the food and atmosphere!!!
