I come here often for lunch and have tried a lot of the sandwiches, they're all tasty but I do have some favorites, like the muffaletta, Cuban, and pork stacker. There's quite a variety, which I appreciate, and the menu lists all the ingredients. Thechicken salad is addictive and the people are sweet. Give it a try! View all feedback.
What Kyrstin Hill doesn't like about Deli On North Avenue:
Food is decent but service is very slow and the sandwiches are getting smaller. They are already kind of pricey and now it seems like the sandwiches are 1/3 of the size View all feedback.
I frequently visit this restaurant for lunch and have sampled many of their sandwiches, all of which are delicious. However, I have a few favorites, including the muffaletta, Cuban, and pork stacker. I really appreciate the variety on the menu, and it lists all the ingredients too. The chicken salad is absolutely addictive, and the staff are wonderfully friendly. I definitely recommend giving it a try!
When they get my order correct, the food is quite tasty. However, I've noticed that my orders are often not exactly what I requested. For instance, I ordered a veggie sandwich that was supposed to include yellow squash, zucchini, and roasted red peppers, but instead, I received cucumber, banana peppers, and olives—which wouldn’t be an issue, except I’m allergic to olives. Additionally, I ordered a turkey avocado panini, but to my disappointment, it didn’t contain any avocado. I also requested BBQ potato chips, but ended up with voodoo chips, which have a strong vinegar flavor that I’m not fond of. They should consider implementing a prepaid order shelf since the lines can get quite long during lunch hours, and I find it frustrating to wait for an order that was supposed to be ready 30 minutes ago. Still, aside from these issues, the food is great when they manage to get my order right.
This is a fantastic small business deli with an extensive menu and generous sandwich sizes. The service is quick, even during the busy lunch hour, so you won't have to wait long from the moment you arrive to when you start eating. The only downside is that it's open for lunch only.
In this area to visit the old cathedral. Looking for legit deli experience. This place had homemade soup, homemade salads and sandwiches, and the price was perfect. Everything we ate was fresh, and the customer service was excellent. I highly recommend.
Pete and his team are truly some of the kindest people in the neighborhood! They work hard and are always friendly. And let's not forget the amazing sandwiches! The muffuletta and spicy roast beef are absolutely delicious—I'd be willing to wait as long as necessary because they're just that worth it!
