We went here for evening drinks and appetizers. Aside from the unique and amazing aesthetics of a church turned brewery, the tap beer offerings and appetizers were very good. Reasonably priced, adequate amount of tap beers with additional cocktail options for non-beer drinkers. The spinach feta gorgonzola dip and crispy brussel sprouts with blueberry balsamic and goat cheese were fantastic. Also have option to take h... View all feedback.
What Justin Bell doesn't like about The Church Brew Works:
Service was horrible. Waited 10 minutes for a bartender and then 10 minutes to fine what i wanted. 24.00 for a shot of don Julio on the rocks. Absolutely ridiculous. I will never go back there View all feedback.
That's a cool place! In any case, it is worth checking whether you are in the Pittsburgh area. We could reserve 6 for 2 people for Friday, which was really comfortable. It was not excessively busy for Friday at peak times, and there were many families. I poured the flight of 6 5 ounces and I enjoyed all the beers I had. I would also highly recommend the PB
The error of the concept alone is worth 6 stars! My colleagues brought me here first, maybe 10 years ago for lunch, and I was somewhere between stutter and speechless after I went through the front door. When I was in town for a short visit, I wanted to show my friend's local expertise. Just like ten years before, the staff was friendly and welcoming, even if they were just minutes from closing. We got no food just a short drink, took some photos and went on our way. A great, unique Pittsburgh experience.
This is a unique experience that I would recommend, really everyone looking for a fun spot! It was busy tonight, I think there was a big party, but we sat fast and we didn't get impatient while waiting for our food. The beer is great, my chicken salimbocca was absolutely delectable, and all people in my party enjoyed their dish. I'll be back.
This place is great. It is HUGE to find a seat at the bar or a table should not be a problem. The atmosphere is super cool and the service was excellent. The tap selection is not huge, but it is all brewed in the house and is wide enough to be interesting for craftsmen brew enthusiasts.
Unbelievable spot! We were told to make a trip to see this place and we were not disappointed. The inside of this place was incredible. The food was amazing. I ordered the Jubilee Hilltop Ranch Meatloaf and the meatloaf melted in your mouth. From the ascetics to the food, you can’t go wrong going here. They have a merchandise table inside as well with very reasonable prices. I purchased 4 pint glasses with their logo on there for $20. Definitely if you have time, stop by and enjoy a great meal with a view.
