Carson Street Deli - Pittsburgh

This place has an outstanding selection of craft beers on tap and in cans, along with a cozy bar and dining area. It's a fantastic spot to stop by and grab a build-your-own six-pack or enjoy a delicious sandwich with a refreshing beer!

Absolutely phenomenal. Been here twice now. Great selection of very tasty beers, and both sandwiches I had were delicious. The staff is friendly, kind, and FAST. Even when they're a little busy. Whenever I return to Pittsburgh, this will be my place.Thanks guys!

This is a nice place, and I really enjoy the beer selection. However, I wish the sandwiches were a bit more unique and that the ingredients and flavors were of a higher quality. I would gladly pay $15 for a sandwich under those conditions, but as they are now, they feel rather plain, making the price seem a bit steep. I do return occasionally, but not as frequently as I would if the bread were from a quality bakery and the meats and vegetables were prepared with more attention. Just my thoughts—might not be the most popular opinion!

The sandwiches were tasty, but our experience was marred by the rude staff who hurried us to place our order. To make matters worse, one employee made a racist remark about not accepting Mexican IDs, even though we aren't Mexican and our IDs were U.S. government-issued. It’s frustrating when a restaurant invites you to come in and order, only to go out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable. Yikes.

By sandwich standards, this restaurant is exceptional. The bread is fantastic and generously loaded with your choice of meat. They also offer an excellent selection of regional beers.
