What Arturo Williamson doesn't like about Bridges Pittsburgh:
The food is extremely expensive for what it is and the wait staff/managers are rude. There are much better places to eat at within walking distance, spend your money elsewhere. View all feedback.
Enjoyed the service and I really liked some breakfast options. Especially the oat flakes with roasted panties and bagel with cream cheese.
I don't know how the food is. My wife and I wanted to have a few drinks after I went to dinner with our daughter after I helped her to calm down for the semester after she was taken in. We were at the hotel. It wasn't super busy. It took about 15 to 20 minutes to get a double of Jameson and a glass of Pinot. My glasses dirty. About another 20 minutes to get my change (I left a 50 percent tip). We thought about another round, but there were people waiting. The bartender wasn't so good, and seemed uninterested or maybe separated and unbearable any kind of positive customer service. The only way to describe it was that she ate a handful of Valium and simply did not know what to do or what was going on.
They were here to organize a meeting where they told the organizer that they would like us, but when we arrived, it was closed. I've been told that it's keeping weird hours and closing a mood. While the food could be good (who knows) the place is very unreliable.
Food was good. Stout Chili was fantastic the best value on the menu. Little expensive on most of the other foods but big portions.
My daughter and I ordered dinner salads. The lettuce was so old it was liquefied into a solid mass at the bottom of the plate, (but artfully covered by a few fresher leaves). It was inedible. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she said it was just wet, but would discount our meals. She gave us 15% off one salad. So: bad food, bad service and, since it 's a hotel restaurant, no ambiance. Eat elsewhere.
