I went to Bistro 19 with my friends for lunch following the farmers market. The menu had many good food options and our waitress was very friendly. We went long but never felt rushed. My favorite thing about Bistro 19 was the atmosphere. It's a smaller size restaurant and feels upscale without being stuffy. I will go back for sure and maybe just for the cocktail bar! Bistro 19 is another one of these restaurants that is one of our favorites and yet we do not come almost often enough. At some point in May we received an email about their summer tasting menus. First time, Juni's strawberry tasting menu. We decided to review it. We didn't choose the wine pairing. It was a work night, so we ordered iced tea. Amuse Bouche: Strawberry Bree on nut bread with strawberry gastrique. Ripe, juicy strawberry, creamy brie, strawberry sauce and delicate dataut bread.
Great food and great service fish was done well and the presentation and sauce was awesome Great bar too ! We had areservation only waited a little while and had a great seat. A gem in my Lebo
Food was great. Pork tenderloin was fantastic as was the Carmel popcorn desert. Service was quick and friendly. Loves the atmosphere. Will definitely go back soon. Couldn't recommend it more.
Love Love Love this restaurant. Have been there 3 times and never disappointed. The food is exceptional, the friendly servers are well-educated on menu items. Bistro 19 is VERY gluten-free friendly as well. I don't care if others say it's a little pricey, I can trust this restaurant, and there aren't many restaurants that can live up to that statement. Oh, and the Argentinian chardonnay paired perfectly with the pork tenderloin, just like Sheryl recommended. I can't wait to go back!
A top restaurant in the South Hills for a reason. Good wine variety, food quality and attentive service. My menu favorites include the vegetable stack, beet and pear salad, and short ribs. Can't go wrong here if you like creative, well executed menus and a vibrant atmosphere.
