Stopped eating there two years ago. Sauce became excessively salty. Much better now. It 's the odd pizza you HAVE to have. Pizza with mushrooms still a favorite. Chicken sandwich was ok, too thin. Burger was same. Fried cauliflower very tasty. View all feedback.
What LynneB doesn't like about Beto's Pizza:
I’ve been going here forever just not frequently anymore as I live further away. Went last night. Disappointed. They use to pile the pepperoni on and not so much anymore. The pepperoni also use to be more of a fresh cut pepperoni. Also they use to give you a number for your table and bring your food out when done. Now they call your name. This isn’t a problem except if you order something else like fries they sit and... View all feedback.
Beto’s is a crime against nature to put it lightly. I came here after hearing about it and about how they don’t cook the cheese and that it’s not that bad but after going through this traumatizing experience of eating Beto’s I have to tell you it IS that bad. This place is probably one of if not the worst pizza place I have been to. The pizza is so sloppy when you eat it. You barely get to eat the toppings and by the end there is a whole pizza on your plate. The cheese on the pizza isn’t even very cold the crust is so hot that it makes the cheese warm. Another thing is the loudspeaker they announce orders on it is so unbearably loud and scratchy that I had to plug my ears to try to “enjoy” the pizza. In conclusion, I would much rather go to Fiori’s down the Road instead of this embarrassment to the art of cooking pizza. J Conquest
I am visiting Pittsburgh for the National Senior Games presented by Humana and we decided to grab a couple of slices for lunch today. After many recommendations from the locals, we went with the fourth most recommended place. The first was a place called Fiorias but we could find absolutely nowhere to park. So being so close we decided to give it a whirl. Now getting to the big luxurious parking lot was a challenge. Not being from this city, we are not used to the one way barriers but after we turned on the GPS we eventually found our way. We received directions from a kind young gentleman at the BP gasoline service station located next to the Fioras Pizzaria.First impression of the Betos Mexican Pizzaria was 50/50. Like either this place is just gonna be another roadside pizza place or it’s going to be delightful. After that it kind of went downhill rapidly. It wasn’t possible to give the customer service a negative rating so I’m choosing right here in my review to do so. I understand local restaurants have their regular customers, but I just don’t think it’s right when I am waiting in line and somebody walks in multiple times and get service before me I guess because they are a regular.I am a senior Pickleball champion, and having a championship match today I very well am probably going to have to forfeit my match due to the vomiting and explosive bowel movements every 8 minutes.I understand people have their quirks and claim to fame, but serving uncooked food is not only risky but can be dangerous. So as I’m sitting in Allegheny General Hospital emergency room stay tune for a part two of this review.
One of my favorite places for pizza. A must if you are a pizza lover. If you have not tried it, you are missing out big time. Barry CarbFood: 5/5
Unique and has been around for decades!Always sooo deliciously good! Cheap fast too!!I honestly didn’t think I’d “love” it as much as I do due to the ‘cold’ cheese, but the crispiness of the crust and sauce just make it!And can’t go wrong with the massive amounts of provolone ? either ?
Beto's is pricey, just a fair warning there. The pizza is okay, definitely wasn't to our liking. However, their cheese steaks are amazing and worth the price. So, overall, not bad. Will be getting the cheese steaks again for sure.
