Our guide brought us here after a visit to the Pisac Market. Kind of out of the way, needs transportation to get there from the market. The food here is good - we liked the quinoa soup, and the beef for the loma saltado is probably the most tender of the 4 to 5 times we had the dish (from Lima to Cusco). The trout was fresh and tasty. The chocolate cake was a bit dry though but we were too full to eat dessert anyway... View all feedback.
We had the papas rellenas to start. They were great. We also enjoyed two different trout dishes, one fried and one grilled both served over a bed of potatoes. Everything was delicious! Make sure you allow some time to sit and enjoy the courtyard...area. They offer a copy of the full menu in English.
Quinoa suppe was delicious. So that was a big one. our driver had the meat. it looked good. the restaurant is away from the beaten. requires a driver or a walk. my driver told me that the restaurant was earlier in the city, but with the extension it was moved to the edge of the city. some tables are located in the garden, preferably on a beautiful day.

I had the tremendous fortune of living next door to Dona Clorinda's for 2 years and I never got sick of the food. I ate there at least 2 times a week. The place is run by Dona Clorinda and her daughter Mati, meticulous hosts who ensure excellent food and hospitality. Discover Cusquenan cuisine and enjoy feeling like you're at home. They expertly serve individual guests and large tour groups. It could not be better! The restaurant is 1 km outside of Pisac town center, near the river. I recommend the ceviche and the lomo saltado is the best I have had in Peru.
I went in to purchase a snack and ordered a mushroom and cheese empanada for 4 soles. Typically, an empanada is 1 or 2 soles but I read good reviews about this place so I wanted to try it. The boy who takes my order urges me to buy more... Miss a soda, please? Something to drink? I politely decline and point to my water bottle and say I'm fine with this. I hand the boy 4 soles and he refuses to take it and points me to my seat. Seconds later he brings me 2 empanada and I look at him and say two? And he said yes yes... I thought to myself fabulous. The empanada must have been heated up in a microwaves and place on napkins. The bottoms were sooga and the napkin and dough merged together. Gross. Parts of the dough was hard from being over cooked. I go to pay for the bill and sure enough the little poop head charged me for two empanada. I asked why and he said since I order a cheese and mushroom empanada I must want two of them. It didn't make sense at all. It's not like they served me a mushroom empanada and cheese empanada, they were both cheese and mushroom empanadas. Strange. So, I think they may get their kicks out of serving extra food you didn't order and make you pay for it. I don't recommend this place. Nope.
