I absolutely love Pardners! We visited tonight, and right after we received our drinks, the power went out. However, they quickly took our order while the grill was still hot. Using flashlights, they managed to prepare my husband's hot dogs and French fries, as well as my baked potato. The food was delicious, and the staff handled the situation with humor, laughing and apologizing for the power outage, which was obvi... View all feedback.

Ignore the bad reviews. I lived in pine flats for about 19 years so needless to say I 've eaten here for years. Hundreds of times. I 'd say 9/10 meals there are good service and food quality. Their BBQ is pretty good. A step or two below Ridgewood but it 's definitely not lunch meat as one other user claimed. People who say worst food ever should stop posting reviews because that 's ridiculous to say about anything. If you only went once and didnt care for it, give it a second go and see if the service and food is better before making a final judgment.

It is Called Pardner's Bar-B-Que for a Reason. I have been eating at Pardner's for a couple of decades. Over these years, I have had the following: Pork (in sandwich form), slaw (always on the sandwich), fries, beans and tea. The sandwich arrives piled high with sliced, smoked pork. Fries are skin-on and cut on premise. A side covers a dinner plate. Beans are always good and my tea glass is never empty. The sauce ranks in my top 3. Prices are fair. If you want a great pork sandwich with all the trimmings, seat yourself and place your order. If you are looking for something else, keep looking.

Great food! All barbecue is hickory smoked in house, yes every bit of it, without that junk called liquid smoke that Ridgewood uses! The only thing Ridgewood is better at is shutting the door in your face, being rude as hell, and charging you nearly double! I recall a segment on the Today show where a Food Network chef went to Ridgewood and they had just closed and wouldn't let him in, so he came to Pardner's. It was the rescue chef. Talk about bad national publicity! Also, just another perk, the family that owns and operates this establishment are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting! Ridge what barbecue?!?!?

Using flashlights, they managed to prepare my husband's hot dogs and French fries, as well as my baked potato. The food was delicious, and the staff handled the situation with humor, laughing and apologizing for the power outage, which was obviously out of their control. Our waitress was fantastic, and everyone made the best of a challenging situation. It's one of our favorite spots in the area!
