Desi District in Charlotte has completely wowed me with their flavorful and authentic Indian cuisine. I recently enjoyed their Chicken Mandi, and it left me amazed by its rich and intricate flavors. The service and atmosphere were commendable; the staff was friendly and attentive, creating a cozy and inviting environment. I highly recommend Desi District for anyone seeking a delightful and unique dining experience. I can’t wait to return to explore more of their delicious offerings. I visit Desi District once a week, and the food is excellent. Just a heads-up, expect a 35-minute wait for your meal on the weekends since everything is made to order, but it's absolutely worth it. My favorite dish is the Chicken Tikka Masala, which includes red onions and green peppers. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I visited Desi District in Charlotte on a Wednesday night for dinner. We started with the Chicken 65 appetizer, which was tasty, but the portion was quite small for $14. Then we ordered the Chicken Mandi, which came with just one leg quarter. The flavor was average, and I felt that for around $22 after tax, it was overpriced considering the limited chicken and just some flavored rice. I ended up adding an extra piece of chicken for an additional $5, bringing my total to about $45. Overall, I didn't find it worth my time or money. There may be better dishes on the menu, but these did not impress me. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
