They have an excellent birthday rewards program that offers a free dessert on your special day. The portion sizes are generous and provide great value for the money. Our service was just right for the occasion, and there’s ample free parking available. The atmosphere is pleasant and relatively quiet, creating a comfortable dining experience. The restaurant features various booth seating options along with tables that can accommodate larger groups. It is also kept clean and sanitized after each party. Overall, we had a delightful dinner.

In fact, all... read more I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. On the positive side, I really enjoyed the Painkiller drinks, and the Coconut Shrimp were outstanding. In fact, all the food was great, except for our appetizer—the Cheese Curds, which were a letdown. Unfortunately, the Coconut Shrimp has been removed from the menu. Our server, Brooke, was fantastic; she even checked with the kitchen to get us the Coconut Shrimp made, despite it being off the menu. However, while Brooke was attentive, the overall wait time was quite disappointing—20 minutes to be seated, 10 minutes before our drink orders were taken, and another 30 minutes for the appetizer to arrive. We had to ask several times about the Painkiller, which had apparently been prepared but mistakenly taken by another table, and then we waited an additional 10 to 15 minutes for our entrees to come out. Overall, the food was good, but with our favorite dish no longer available, the disorganization among the staff, and the long wait times, we don’t plan on returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others.

I was disappointed when the location in Brandon, FL, closed, but now that I'm in St. Pete, I eat there or pick up food regularly. Their red beans and rice are the best, and I really enjoy their chicken tenders. I recently tried the grilled salmon and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.

Overall, while the food remains good, I was a bit let down by this visit, so I've decided to lower my rating to 2 stars. The service was sluggish, and the staff wasn't very friendly. The food was served at an odd temperature, and the chicken tenders were a bit tough. It was also disappointing that the server didn’t follow up with us; we wanted dessert but were never offered it. It felt like they didn’t care about earning a good tip. With plenty of other dining options nearby, I'll likely look for somewhere else to eat next time.
