We enjoyed homemade pickles and fantastic, freshly made hushpuppies accompanied by a unique but delicious homemade sauce. The catfish was fresh, but the standout was the ribeye steak—without a doubt the best steak we've had at a restaurant in years! I couldn't believe how perfect that cut of meat was when we ordered it. It was so good that I didn't even think to take a picture! When I cut into it to check if it was cooked to my liking, it melted away into delightful bites. We will certainly be recommending this place to anyone who visits the area. It’s the catfish house that serves the perfect steak!

The food was hot, but our server appeared to be upset and was a bit curt while taking our order. After about 40 minutes, we still hadn’t received the dessert we ordered. We ended up paying and leaving. For two people, the four-piece dinner cost $48.64.

Although I usually avoid fried foods, I couldn’t resist stealing bites from my husband’s plate. Tina was our server, and she was exceptional—super friendly and very knowledgeable. Your meal comes with coleslaw, cheese dip, and tomato relish, served family style, and the coleslaw is absolutely delicious. Be sure to order the hush puppies; they're incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, especially when dipped in the cheese dip! I had the boiled shrimp dinner with fries, and my husband enjoyed the catfish dinner. Everything was fresh and tasty, with generous portions. We will definitely consider stopping by again on our way back from New Orleans.
