**Dining Experience at China Kitchen: A Mixed Bag** China Kitchen offers a dual dining experience featuring a Mongolian grill and a buffet, appealing to diverse tastes. While many diners praise the Mongolian grill for its customizable and fast-cooked dishes, others express dissatisfaction with the buffet quality and service efficiency. Despite decent food options and fast service, some guests faced challenges such as an unfriendly atmosphere and inconsistency in food preparation. The ambiance is described as outdated, yet the variety and freshness of offerings, especially during busy hours, earn it a mostly positive reception. Overall, while experiences may vary, a visit could be worthwhile for those who enjoy casual, hearty dining.

Loves the Mongolian grill. You have everything you can eat. The buffet side is good, but the Mongolian grill is fantastic. The Mongolian barbecue site, choose what you want in an intestine, add your own spices, spices and sauces and choose from rice, noodles or basically everything else than the kitchen sink to put it. Then cook it before you. Hot and fast. Good stuff! View all feedback.

What Eldred Hermann dislikes about China Kitchen:
The food was decent and plentyful. I was greeted by an unfriendly person in a warm, humid environment. I was asked what drink I wanted and given a ticket. I'd never been here and the buffet was nowhere to be seen. I headed off blindly and came upon the buffet eventually. The server was attentive but didn't understand much English so my request for tartar sauce went unsatisfied. I watched an attendant continue to use... View all feedback.

This restaurant offers two dining options: a Mongolian grill and a buffet. While the Mongolian cuisine is enjoyable, my family prefers the buffet even more. One standout feature of this buffet is how efficiently they manage old food; there's a dedicated staff member for that purpose. Most customers seem to opt for takeout, which leads to a high volume of business, yet many of the food stations are often empty (with the exception of Sundays). The buffet boasts a typical selection you would find in a Southern Chinese buffet, along with some American options for those in the family who are not fans of Chinese cuisine. The service is courteous. I’m giving this review four stars instead of five because, in my opinion, buffet food doesn’t quite earn five stars. Nevertheless, it's an excellent buffet overall. The building itself is a bit outdated, so don’t expect a luxurious ambiance, but that doesn’t take away from the great variety and regular turnover of fresh food.

This restaurant has two sides. Mongolian or Buffet. The Mongolian is good, but my little family loves the buffet even more. The best thing about this buffet is they rotate old food out VERY well. They have a dedicated person for this. Most people come here for a takeout, so it's high volume, but most of the booths are usually empty. (exception, Sunday church rushes)They have the pretty typical spread for a Chinese buffet in the South. They also have Americana options for your anti-chinese food family member. The service is courteous. This review is four instead of five stars because buffet food is never deserves five stars. It's a fantastic buffet nonetheless. The building itself is outdated, don't expect a luxury feel. This doesn't detract from an excellent selection, and good rotation for constantly fresh food.

Not a fan...1st time here. Me and my friend tried this place based on another friends suggestion. Not for us. Neither of us liked anything (well hold on, the black pepper chicken was actually good . The crab Rangoon tasted spoiled. The fried dumplings were so hard I couldn't even break it. The sesame chicken was way too tangy (imagine Catalina salad dressing . Even the lemonade tasted really watered down, like lemon water. Maybe we caught them on an off night, idk. But won't go back. Oh yea, for 2 ppl on a Wednesday night it was $30
