Extremely cosy place. Great outdoor seating. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Such a great find.

Fish and chips lunch was good, but not great. A very busy place, so be prepared to wait for a while.

Traditional bakery with solid value for money food. Fast service and clean.

This place probably has the nicest people in New Zealand. After travelling the North and South Island for a month with my significant other back in early 2016, we ended up in Picton for a nights stay. We walked around the town and decided to get some ice cream, and found this cafe. The gentleman who served us was all smiles, and upon realizing that I was about $1 short in change and needed to break a bill, he told me 'no worries mate ' and handed us the ice cream. That gesture made us return the next morning for their breakfast special. This time, we had somebody else serve us, and again, there was a genuine happiness to see us appear in their little cafe. The food was tasty and it was at a great price. We experienced and saw many great things during our trip, such as mountains, amazing forests, and of course sheep, but one thing that stood out to me was the kindness of the people at this cafe. Thanks again for the ice cream!

Great cafe. Staff were all super friendly and food delicious. I had a 'hangry ' toddler with me so they made sure that the food was heated to a temperature that was easy for him to eat straight away. Thank you!
