Contribute FeedbackThe Dal Rae has been a staple in the community for decades, with a classic steakhouse vibe that some find nostalgic and others find disappointing. While some diners have felt rushed and uncomfortable with sloppy service, others have praised the impeccable customer service and delicious food. Specialties like the Rockafeller Oysters and swordfish have been big hits, with generous portions and upscale ambiance. The lively atmosphere of live music and 40-60’s decor give it a unique charm, making it a popular spot that requires reservations even on weekdays. Despite mixed reviews, the Dal Rae continues to be a go-to spot for many loyal customers.
Our family has been going here for decades. Dal Rae never disappoints!
Everything was delicious and the service was excellent
We last came to this restaurant 15 years ago and boy has it changed not for the better , before it was very much the Rat Pack vibe of a traditional steakhouse we sat in a booth and has wonderful experienced waiters. This time there was almost a shove it in your face rat pack experience the music of the era was everywhere it was a little self conscious. This time we were sat in an annex no booth , that was built 10 years ago. There were a lot of waiters they were sloppy in the way they tended to us . We had the ahi tower which was very good , my martini was also excellent , next came the caesar salad made at the table the worst I have ever eaten I expect romaine and a somewhat creamy dressing this was iceberg lettuce and a very vinegary Italian type dressing for $34 that was a big rip off. The filet mignon was acceptable nothing special , the french fries were terrible soggy. I would not visit again and worst of all it was for my husbands birthday should have gone to Flemings or Arroyo Chop House.
We are fortunate that Marcy always sits us at a perfect table! Server Rene was outstanding, very professional! The Ahi on toast with avocado is the best! Gabriel made us a very tasty, table side, Caesar Salad! The Dal Rae is our absolute favorite place to feast! We even bought gift cards for a wedding gift! We live over 40 miles away, but it is so worth it! Thank you, Dal Rae!!!
Disappointing been going to the Del Rae for over 40 years. We felt rushed and uncomfortable once we sat down. Atmosphere has changed a lot it’s not a calm environment that you would expected at a fine dining restaurant. My shrimp cocktail the shrimp was tough. For now, I will be taking a break from going to this establishment.
