This little place is right in our neighborhood and we go often for a quick meal when I don't feel like cooking. The appetizers are half price between 4 and 6 and the coconut shrimp is delicious and the veggie wrap is the best I have eaten! I don't eat red meat but my husband says the meat burger is amazing. The menu is quite extensive and they have great daily specials too. On weekends they offer breakfast which is r... View all feedback.
What Agostinho Roque doesn't like about The Stone Corner Pub:
Went for dinner on a Wednesday night. I ordered the mini quesadillas and grilled calamari. The server brought breaded calamari, which she returned. The grilled calamari was lukewarm and tasteless served on scraps of lettuce. Had to ask for sour cream for the quesadillas and also no salsa. My husband had a chicken caesar wrap which was good. I left most of the calamari on my plate and when asked told the server it was... View all feedback.
They have steak and lobster tail special on Friday for 17 dollars I. Would like to try their fajitas on Thursday night
We went to the Stone Corner Pub in Pickering for dinner in May 2015 and were disappointed in how this place has gone downhill. We like to walk to this location. When it changed from the Burbs Bistro to the Pub the atmosphere changed a bit, but we were happy that the great service and amazing food stayed pretty much the same. While the server was friendly and ok on our recent visit, the food was not. It was greasy and not well cooked, the lettuce wilted and the flavour not great. My butter chicken was ok, but everything else was terrible. Also I noticed that the flip menu on the table was filthy, the seating warn and the restaurant windows dirty. We most likely will not be returning, and certainly wouldn’t bring guests with us as we had done in the past. I am really disappointed and hope the owner can turn things around before it is too late.
There was a group of us that met here for lunch. This was still during all the Covid/restriction times. We arrived and looked after by Natasha and she did all the things required. She was also very patient with us as we chatted before we finally ordered. We had a mixed of meals between us. Some had a lunch item, some had breakfast. I had the Pecan Chicken Salad. I really was looking forward to this, but it fell short. The chicken was dry and overcooked, as a result the pecan crust was slightly burnt. The salad and the dressing was good but the chicken left me disappointed. The fajita wrapped looked really good, and my friend said she enjoyed her meal. The breakfasts were all good. In general all the meals were filling. I would still go back as they had an extensive menu that I would still like to try. As I mentioned our server was great. It wasn't very busy when we were there and 5 ladies catching up have a tendency to get a bit lively. She would come in, check in on us and join in with our laughter.
My first reaction was what great prices and selection on their menu. The service was fast and efficient and the food was delicious, well presented and plentiful. I planning on going back soon.
They got us a table not long after arrival even though it was crazy busy!.. service was awesome and so were the highland dances!
