The best they ever eat! I was full after half a plate, but could not stop! great family atmosphere.
I had the hamburger steak special and my wife had the pig out potato and they were delicious.

Dixie Que in Picayune has garnered a variety of reviews from diners, showcasing a blend of culinary delights and disappointments. While many praise the barbecue's exceptional flavors, including outstanding brisket and ribs, others express dissatisfaction with greasy dishes and lackluster sides. The warm, family-friendly atmosphere and attentive service receive consistent accolades, making it an appealing choice for casual dining. However, concerns about price and inconsistent food quality suggest that experiences can vary significantly. For those seeking delicious barbecue in a welcoming environment, Dixie Que remains a popular destination worth exploring, albeit with some caveats.

This restaurant in Picayune is one of our top choices for dining out. Their brisket tacos, crazy thighs, and gumbo are all excellent. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is great. It's a perfect spot for a lunch meal, with a price range of $10-20 per person. We highly recommend trying their Brisket Chopped and Taco Duo dishes.

The best people around! The food and service are absolutely top-notch. We dined in for dinner, and everything was excellent. Prices are reasonable, around $10–20 per person. I highly recommend the Sausage Pulled Pork and Brisket Plate with Macaroni and Cheese and Potato Salad, as well as the Smoked Chicken, Meat Plate, Fries, Pulled Pork, Smoked Sausage, and Brisket Fry. Food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect 5 stars!

I have never had unbattered fried chicken at a restaurant before. I thought I was the only one who cooked it that way. It was delicious and the atmosphere is definitely family-friendly.
This restaurant is perfect for families, with delicious food and excellent customer service. If something isn't quite right the first time, they will go above and beyond to fix it.
The brisket fries were outstanding. The staff was extremely friendly and talkative. The atmosphere felt more like a casual family gathering than a restaurant. I really enjoyed it.
Best bbq, had the sampler plate and everything was delicious. Shout out to Chris, Hayley and Autumn, y'all are great people!!!
The brisket was very dry/greasy if that makes since, the pulled pork was ok but could've had more seasoning/meat a better bun. The barbecue was watery not to mention the coleslaw was disgusting. It tasted like straight mayonnaise with NO SEASONING WHATSOEVER the PRICES are RIDICULOUS! You are better off making this at home than throwing your money away because this food is like cafeteria food at school! I'm not going back!!!
