Brunch was amazing! The food was fresh and beautifully presented. The drinks were carefully crafted to order (we loved how spicy the Mary was!). We absolutely enjoyed the courtyard ambiance. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Timo Wine:
Beautiful place. However $31 for lamb chops entree and the meat was sub par to have been marinated beforehand and dry. Two pieces of asparagus? And buttered down couscous....if it wasn 't for the pregnancy craving for the meat I 'd have gotten my money back right then. I 'll stick to the Mediterranean places where they know how to meal prep lamb chops appropriately. Seriously View all feedback.
Sat at the bar and watched all the magical dishes flowing from the wood fired oven. Had a simple Margarita Pizza. Delicious and not over-priced. Solid wine and beer list with full bar. I’ll be back!
TIMO is a terrific place for an intimate setting inside or a spacious patio. I highly recommend the escargot appetizer.
Great patio. Friendly waitstaff. Sadly the kitchen has no idea what they are doing. My husband ordered the trout and risotto both of which were completely overcooked. The trout was like crispy cardboard and the risotto was so stiff it had to be cut with a knife. I ordered the veggie pizza which per the menu comes with burrata and ricotta and it came out with only mozzarella. The waitress apologized and came out with two small ketchup sized cups of cold cheese. With the look on my face she said, oh would you like them warmed up? She came back out with the reheated now burnt same pizza. Granted the crust tasted great. Then I realized it didn’t have the asparagus as advertised either. This time the manager came over and ended up comping the pizza. I will say the happy hour prices and wine selection are great. Just don’t order entrees. Oh and we tried a slice of the “NY style cheesecake” which was clearly from a bulk store and the menu said “mixed berry compote” and it was just frozen, reheated blueberries. Really disappointing. Just seems they are now trying to cut corners and not deliver on what you are paying for.
Timo is a fantastic place for a meal, for tapas or for happy hour. There is a generous patio with a mix of dining tables and cushioned patio furniture. Live music is also available on certain nights. On this, my third or fourth visit, service and food was much more consistent than my first visit. The food was great but the service was only fair on my first couple of tries. They have it all ironed out now, though! The crew is cohesive and attentive with nice bar drinks and wines and a solids menu of tapas to full entrees. Build in an old firehouse, Timo has a great ambiance indoors and out. But, by all means, go for the food and beverage options, all of which is cooked in a wood-fired oven!
The happy hour wine deals makes this place worth the stop as they do have specials everyday. Service was a bit slow even with booked reservations and the restaurant not being full. The pan seared skirt steak was delicious and perfectly seasoned. Great appetizer to start however..... when it came to the entrees, that is were quality went down. The ribeye I ordered was overcooked as I requested medium rare and came out more medium-medium well. In addition, the side roasted potatoes were HEAVILY salted. My gf ordered the spicy salami pizza which looked great but had little to no seasoning, which was ironic compared to the seasoning on my side potatoes. Might of been just an off night for them but this place is a decent date spot to try out.
