I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food. I ordered the butter chicken and my partner had the chicken dish. The butter chicken was absolutely amazing! We also tried the garlic naan, which was probably the best naan I've ever had. I love this place! They also offer a selection of alcoholic drinks that you can enjoy inside or on their terrace. The Indian food at this restaurant is not authentic, more like a typical chain restaurant such as Olive Garden for Italian food. The butter chicken sauce was unpleasantly sweet, and the Ktikka sauce tasted like plain tomato sauce. The garlic naan was disappointing, resembling a microwave pizza. Usually, mint chutney and tamarind sauce are served separately, but at Tikka Shack, they mix them together and overload it.... View all feedback.
If you're looking for Indian cuisine that is not overly spicy or oily, this restaurant is worth a try. While it may not be completely authentic, it offers a milder and healthier option for those with a sensitive palate.
The service at this restaurant was terrible. When we arrived, we were greeted by two high school kids at the counter. One of them took my order, but after waiting for 50 minutes, I had to ask where my Tikka Naan was. It turns out, the order was never even placed with the kitchen. The staff member tried to blame me for not ordering it, but when I showed him my receipt, he realized his mistake and offered me free food as compensation. It took a total of 90 minutes for our food to arrive, and the restaurant was nearly empty on a Saturday night. It's no surprise it was empty, given the horrible service we received. I would not recommend dining here.
The best biryani I have had since my visit to India. The atmosphere is clean, the staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. A winning combination all around.
Very consistent taste, service and experience. We love stopping by at Tikka Shack for a quick dinner/lunch with Indian cuisine.Obviously butter chicken/paneer tikka masala and garlic naan are the sure shot winners while other dishes are also tasty.This time even Chai was available… that’s a plus and very good plus for winter.
