Not sure why all hatred. My husband and I went and everything went well. We were immediately helped, drinks were fast, bread was fast and food was almost hot to eat. It was delicious and the female waitress was excellent. There was nothing wrong with our food except me it wasn't really important for the pasta salad, but I'm a picky meal. We ordered and inaugurated at this point for a while and never had a problem wit... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Streets Of New York:
Both the photos and prices listed online on their website were misleading prices were higher and the food was worse than what I had received from the frozen section at Trader Joe's. I ordered a Margherita pizza and was basically given a cheesy bread with little to no red sauce, a few cubed tomatoes and hardly a whisper basil. The Toscana Pasta had no tomatoes at all and was pretty dirty. I really love trying smaller... View all feedback.
Make sure to call ahead and place your order at this restaurant. The pizza here is top-notch and I have ordered from here many times. The pizza is consistently fantastic, especially when getting it by the slice. A slice of cheese pizza costs $4 and it's a generous portion. The personal box it comes in is convenient and perfect. You can even go next door to the bar and have a drink while waiting for your order. They also have a drive-thru, so you don't even have to get out of your car.
Good stuff. Nice people. Quick. Inside and outside seating. The bathroom is small that's the only negative thing I can think of.Food: 5/5
Since they want to remove my review on google, I thought anyone who eats at this location should know that...what we thought would be a nice sit down lunch over some pasta, my father and I participated in a game of swatting flies. Service was nice but playing racket ball with fly is not what we anticipated.
Today, I was in the mood for a delicious sub and decided to skip Subway in favor of this place. I'm glad I did because their Philly Cheesesteak is far superior to Subway's. It features high-quality meat, perfectly melted cheese, mushrooms, and onions all sandwiched between a fantastic homemade sesame seed bun. The fries were mediocre, lacking salt and being a bit too soft. The building's atmosphere is cozy but could use some updating, perhaps by replacing the outdated tile with wood. The service was excellent, with the girl at the front being shy but still offering a smile and thanking me for my visit. It's the little things like this that make a big difference.
If you're in the mood for some garlic parmesan on charcoal, this is the place to go. It used to be the best restaurant in town, but the quality has gone downhill. The food coming out of the kitchen was awful. They need to retrain their staff. Streets used to have the most delicious food in Arizona, but now it's like eating dog food.
