Sandbar Mexican Grill Desert Ridge

Excellent service and delicious food, but the restroom needs significant improvements.

We waited 30 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. After 15 minutes, a man finally approached, but it took another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. The food came with appetizers that had very little flavor and were quite disappointing. Our three adult children received meals that were practically inedible. The place had an unpleasant odor, reminiscent of stinky feet or dog food. We recently moved from Boise and had hoped this restaurant would be good, but we will definitely not return!

We gather to watch college football games with family and friends.

We had a party of seven. Expected a restaurant but the entire place is s a bar with televisions blaring so loud it was impossible to have a conversation. We walked out after the server said it was open seating and we could sit anywhere. They did not even put tables together for our large group. We walked out and ate elsewhere.

The outdoor dining area is really nice, especially in late October. The food was absolutely nothing to get excited about, I had a steak burrito which was not very good. The rest of my party were not impressed by their food either. I would recommend this place for beers and appetizers, but go elsewhere if you want a nice meal.
