My mom ordered the Mofongo con Camarones al Ajillo, which was perfectly garlicky, delicious, and not too salty. It came with plenty of shrimp that she couldn’t finish. My dad had Pollo a la Criolla, which brought back memories of Puerto Rico. I wasn’t very hungry but wanted to try their empanadillas—mushroom and pizza flavors—and both were freshly made and tasty. Naturally, we had Malta India to complete the authentic experience. I’m already looking forward to returning!
