Was Erika klüh at Persepshen a mag?

Made a reservation for a birthday. The ingredients were definitely quality and a good selection of dishes. The serving sizes, however, were not consistent from one dish to the next. For the price of the meals it would be nice to see a replacement of silverware between dishes and more consistency of beverage refills. Reservation is definitely encouraged as the venue is small. What Sitharath Sam dislikes about Persepshen:

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile now since seeing post from a friend Facebook page. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed! The appetizer and jalapeños Margaritas were delicious but both of our entrees were salty. The service was great through! Would I go there again, probably not. View all feedback.

Fully sustainable does work. The menu rotates on a weekly basis depending on what is available from the arizona farms. We went for a closed door chef led event and absolutely loved each well planned and executed dish. The scallops are flown in daily, the beef is from an az ranch and is dry aged a minimum of 90 days. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great atmosphere, awesome service and incredible food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–100

I 've read so much about Persepshen and Chef Jason. And, I love how they use locally sourced, organic, farm to table ingredients, nose to tail, and don 't use seed oils. So when we had the opportunity to reserve our spot after running an errand in Phoenix after driving in from Sedona, we hopped on it! We were not the only ones waiting outside for the doors to open at 4:30pm, and the place got full, fast. Our server, Alyssa, was super friendly and helpful when we didn 't know what to order at first. We had a prime seating at the counter where we could watch Chef Jason in action! They update their menu every week, based on the local ingredients that come in. We did start off with the Plate of Pickles and Roasted Mushrooms, and then had the Cochinita Pibil (red chili orange braised Terra Market Iberico) and the Iberico Pork Ribeye. I can 't speak for the few reviews here that complained about too little food, or it being too expensive, because we eat a lot, AND we had take home leftovers because there was such an abundance of food! The food pricing was balanced, and commensurate to the level of food, which was AH-MAZING!! Off the bat, we noticed that Chef Jason used many layers of flavor profiles in each dish that all work together synergistically, with various unique sauces, pickled items (which are gut friendly), thoughtful accompaniments, and you can tell it 's made with lots of intention and love. He used a lot of cast iron skillets, and his whole team in front of, and in, the kitchen were super hospitable and friendly, and Chef Jason checked in with us to make sure our food was to his liking. It was all so delicious, and Alyssa made sure we had everything we needed. We were so glad that they had many gluten-free items to choose from! When he brought out his ribeye masterpiece (it was like a work of art), we were so excited, and Chef Jason summed it all up when he told us, Good food should be shared amongst good people. Thank you, Chef Jason, Alyssa, and team for the amazing meal and experience! We 'll be back. This place is Mis Percepshen This was a birthday dinner. Looking at the menu beforehand and this place looked great. The food and service however were another story. We got there on time for 6:15pm reservations. When we got a chance to order I wanted to order the duck, but they were out already. I then ordered their version of beef wellington which as dry aged 90-day filet minion with caramelized onion and pate with a puff pastry with a Bordeaux sauce. The food came out an hour later. The puff pastry was a cup shaped overcooked hard mess. The filet was string and gamey and the texture was off. It was one of the worst representations of beef wellington I had ever seen or tasted. My expectations were high beause the dish was priced above $80.00. I ordered the short rib ravioli and it was overcooked on the edges and with same sinewy beef. The server was not apologetic and looked puzzed why I did not like either dish that and the fact the food took an hour to get to us did not give me a great birthday experience. If there were half stars I would give it. The wine was good. A pretentious little place that does not deliver

This is one of the best casual fine dining restaurants I 've ever been to. The food is just incredible, great quality and flavor, cooked perfectly, and some very unique items. The food really does stand out as being on a level above other places thatwe love. The crispy polenta street fries are incredible! We got the Chinese sausage steam buns this time and those werewonderful. We 've gotten the chicken dip in the past and that 's also amazing. The only thing we 've gotten that we weren 'timpressed with was the duck a l 'orange, which we just didn 't think the duck itself was very tender. Maybe it was just thatparticular one we had. But the fingerling potatoes that came with it were the best I 've ever had, it looked like they weresmashed and then fried so they were really crispy on the outside but soft in the center. And the orange sauce went great withthem. It 's really fun sitting at the bar because it 's right in front of the open kitchen, but be warned it does get a littlewarm if you 're the seat closest to the kitchen (worth it in my opinion). Waitress is always great (I forget her name but we 'veseen her a couple times). We 'll keep coming back and can 't wait to try more things on the menu!

Amazing: Shawarma, Crispy fingerling potatoes, gnocchi, the burger, cast iron cookie, chocolate cream pie, the service, the vibe! Easily one of the most unique and best restaurants in Arizona. Such a hidden gem.

All I can say is wow! We had one of the best meals we've ever had here! Started off with the chicken dip, so flavorful and rich. Best dip I've ever had! For main courses we had the grilled shrimp risotto and the 270 day dry aged new York strip. Risotto waspacked with complex flavors and so creamy. The shrimp was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection. The absolute star ofthe meal was the NY strip. Served medium rare, the dry aged steak was super flavorful! Best steak I've ever eaten! It comes withthe crispy fingerling potatoes, charred broccoli and 2 sauces lemon aioli, and a wine demi glaze) large enough to sharebetween 2 people. So delicious! Finished the night with a chocolate cream pie which was also delicious! The salted carmelaround the crust added and extra richness to die for! Casual relaxed atmosphere. The head chef and owner waited on us and madeus feel at home and taken care of. We will definately be back to persepshen!

Persepshen has one of the most well thought out menus featuring local ingredients and scratch made EVERYTHING! The environment is perfect for a Friday night out with friends but also perfect for a date. All the portions are served with sharing in mind soyou can try multiple different menu items. I was very impressed with how fresh every item was but also with the unique flavorpairings and plating. We got a few items to share while my husband and I were on a double date. All of which were delicious. The escargot is a MUST and the charcuterie board features scratch made liver pate, meats cured by the chef and an assortment offresh picketed veggies. Sometimes places that boast ?local and fresh? are anything but. Persepshen outdid themselves on bothclaims. A unique spot serving truly local ingredients and a chef that cares about the food he serves. The staff is friendly, the owner Jason makes sure to stop by your table and from start to finish you feel very welcomed. Do yourself a favor and get areservation!! And don?t forget dessert! It?s out of this world. My husband and I are still talking about the skillet cookie andlemon pie!

Absolutely amazing food. Food has not tasted normal/good since I lost my taste in Dec from Covid. This is the first food I've had that I could taste and enjoyed! Imaginative and oh so fresh!

A Culinary Delight! Persepshen restaurant is a must-visit culinary gem! The Scampi I enjoyed was cooked to perfection, while my wife savored the Arugula salad and flavorful mussels. The fantastic meal was complemented by an inviting ambiance. Visiting on a busy Sunday night highlighted the popularity of this establishment, making reservations a wise choice. With its exceptional food and bustling atmosphere, Persepshen guarantees an unforgettable dining experience.

I struggled writing this review because there isn’t words that can fully describe the experience of dining at persepshen. The service, the food, the atmosphere is beyond EXCEPTIONAL every single time! They never disappoint! The quality of their ingredients is by far the BEST in the city! Each dish is crafted with love and plated in the most unique way! My favorite part is that their menu changes frequently so you can always expect something new! I love their gnocchi, burgers, their crushed potatoes are phenomenal, and desert is a absolute MUST! You just really need to come and experience it for yourself 10000000/10

So good!! Everything we ordered was delicious but our favorites were pork chop and scallops. It was hard to decide what to get because everything on the menu looked amazing. Can’t wait to go back and try more things. We also loved sitting at the bar and watching the staff working in the kitchen. Everything is so beautifully presented. And the fact that they care about quality of meat, produce, oils they cook in makes it that much better. Love this place!
