**Dining at Panda Express: A Mixed Bag at PHX Airport** Panda Express at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport offers a blend of fast service and affordable prices, appealing to travelers in Terminal A. While many praise its quick turnover and freshness, others report disappointing dishes, with flavorless fried rice and overly seasoned orange chicken. Concerns about cleanliness also arose, with instances of staff not adhering to proper hygiene practices. Despite the favorable location and accessibility, experiences remain inconsistent, leaving some patrons eager to explore other dining options. Overall, while it aims to deliver a convenient meal, expectations for quality and flavor may vary greatly.
I didn’t end up eating here because I stopped by the bathroom around 2:20 PM on September 9, 2022. I saw a worker walk in on a cardboard and wash his hands afterwards, but he only used water and no soap. I’m pretty sure just water isn’t enough for proper cleanliness.
I ordered the orange chicken with lo mein noodles. Unfortunately, the noodles were hard and dry, and the flavor of the orange chicken was so overwhelming that it was difficult to enjoy. This was my first experience at the restaurant, and when I returned to try something different, they refused to offer me anything else with just a 10% discount. It was my first visit to this chain, and it will definitely be my last.
Not sure what I ordered but definitely not tasty. Has a charred taste to it. And gristly! And the fried rice definitely has no flavor. I know Panda Express always gets a bad rap but I now see the light.
Located in PHX airport Terminal A 1-12 gates. I?m a fan of PE. It?s quick and reasonable price, for an airport, and it tastes good. The line moves fast at this location and everything is hot and fresh.
After a long flight, I was looking forward to my Panda meal while waiting for another. I ordered a plate of rice and noodles with shrimp and mushroom chicken from A4 after starting my order at B19. Unfortunately, the shrimp was overly greasy, and the rice was extremely undercooked—I could hardly swallow it. This isn't the first time I've received a meal like this. Don't the staff know how to check if the rice is properly cooked? At the very least, they could warn customers not to order it and prepare a fresh batch instead.
