On December 23rd, the atmosphere at Match was lively and festive, without being overly crowded. It was the perfect spot for a post-Lessons and Carols gathering with friends from nearby Trinity Cathedral. The food varied in quality from decent to excellent, and the server was attentive and eager to please. View all feedback.
What Mazie VonRueden doesn't like about MATCH Cuisine & Cocktails:
Server not familiar with wine list. When asked about smaller side salad, she said one could be prepared, yet the one delivered was the regular size on the menu. Main course chicken dry and tasteless. Cornbread dry, no butter offered decaffeinated coffee ordered over dessert regular coffee served. Rather poor experience for such a hyped up restaurant. Will not be returning. View all feedback.
Eating was great, but the pommes were the best I had in phoenix. they crib all the way to the end. later left in the night, only for a second round!
We have been there several times and enjoyed our visits, but the dings were just gone in this night. It started and ended with parking vessels that were not attentive and had to be loaded at the right side of the car. our food server was nice enough, but not as attentive as we would have wished. I ordered her naps and really needed a second serviette, but it took a while to catch her attention before a question. they also brought us ours after the escapes were finished. we've been thinking about dessert, but don't ask how you want to dessert? or is there anything else we can get you? were asked. So we paid the bill and left. the meals were good without problems there, but the food prices are just a bit on the expensive side. the restaurant was not really busy, but for several different songs the volume of music was shown, which made it hard to conduct a conversation. we will probably go back sometime, but there are many other restaurants in the city of phoenix to try.
We were looking for a place near the airport phoenix and found the game on opentable. it was a beautiful place very well designed and eating was fabulous. they had an interesting cocktail menu and their menu was also interesting.
We enjoy the match restaurant when we are in phoenix. on our last trip we could not stay in the hotel Found:re where match is, because they were completely booked, but we went together both to breakfast and dinner. friendly staff, good food and good bar service.
Drinks and food were very meh. Ribs were awful. A Neanderthal wouldn’t have made it through them. Parking was confusing for a first timer. The Service and Staff waiting to you was great.
