Gallo Blanco - Phoenix
Gallo Blanco
Description
Nestled in a residential Phoenix neighborhood, this charming Mexican eatery impresses with its trendy, unfinished chic ambiance and vibrant bar scene. Diners praise the expertly marinated meats in tacos and burritos, fresh tortillas, and standout dishes like huevos rancheros and green chile chilaquiles, all bursting with authentic flavors. House margaritas and creative cocktails receive high marks, though prices can be steep. Homemade salsas and guacamole elevate the experience, complemented by delightful desserts such as churros with unique dipping sauces. While service occasionally shows room for improvement, the welcoming staff and scratch-made cuisine make this a must-visit spot for Mexican food lovers.

Went here as a surprise invitation from my girl. I liked the little quaint out of the place very much. The atmosphere was festive and vibrant. The hostess and the cooks were great as well. The food was a combination of things that I would never have thought of and we got full on appetizers. Yummy!! Go as you will love it and be pleasantly surprised to say the least. Love the vibe!!
Gallo Blanco is my husband and daughter's favorite Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. All the food is made from scratch. A handful of salsas for chips and Guacamole which is a 5 out of 5, so good! All the tacos have fresh, soft and warm tortillas. A wide variety of the tacos to choose from too. They've got a full best and funky staff along with great customer service from our waiter Kyle. This place is a restaurant you cannot miss!
First time trying this place tonight. Have been wanting to try it. Our server (didn?t catch her name but receipt said Berry) was amazing, very friendly, attentive, and explained the menu well. The food was delicious. I had chicken enchiladas, while my friends had a variety of foods. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We also had two drinks each that?s were good as well. Overall for the four of us and two drinks each was about $160 (before tip)
This charming little restaurant is nestled in a mostly residential neighborhood and showcases a stylish, unfinished chic design. I ordered the carne asada burrito, which was absolutely delicious, while my son enjoyed the carne asada tacos—both were outstanding. The meat was perfectly marinated and bursting with flavor. The house margaritas were also very enjoyable!
The bar area is amazing, and the vibe is really enjoyable. We ordered Tortas, and the meat was tasty, especially when we added salsa, which helped to make it less dry. I hope they can take this dish to the next level. For dessert, we had Churros, which were served with two long pieces and three delicious homemade dips. We'll definitely come back to see if there are any improvements.
