El Sazon Del Sur - Phoenix

During my second visit, I ordered ten tacos for myself and two family members around 3:30 PM on an exceptionally hot day in Phoenix. There was only one person in the kitchen, clearly taking advantage of the afternoon lull to prepare food. While the kitchen had air conditioning, it was old and struggled to cope with the 115°F heat. It took a while for someone to take my order, and they looked weary from the heat. My Spanish isn’t great, and I sensed that their English was also limited. If you’re the type who gets frustrated by slower service, it might be best to skip El Sazon Del Sur and leave it to those who appreciate the hard work that goes into providing delicious, affordable food in such demanding conditions. The tacos I had were large and absolutely delectable. I only wish I had more time in town to try other dishes. If you decide to go, be ready to be a little patient and make sure to tip generously! It's definitely worth it!

The best place to eat authentic Mexican food. Their chicken soup is the best of the best. I will recommend this place to everyone. The best customer service, I love this place.?????

The gal was wearing a mask gloves today, they must have read prior reviews and made adjustments <3 Authentic and fresh, the tortillas are made to order, carnitas burrito was delicious, rolled tacos were very fresh! My god this is good Mexican food. Fresh cotija quesadilla, I need a nap after this feast we got 4 plates (2 each because hungry hippos) for $32

This hole in the wall joint provides excellent fresh homemade tasting food. I was impressed and will return again.

This is my favorite spot nearly every Saturday. The tortillas are made fresh and they’re fantastic! I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, but I've sampled nearly all of it.
