The owner roasts her own coffee, and the beans are bursting with flavor. The Costa Rica blend has hints of caramel and is not acidic at all. I also met the owner, Monica, who is very upbeat, friendly, and attentive, and the staff is incredibly welcoming! You really can’t go wrong with anything you try here, but be prepared – you might end up in a food coma! View all feedback.
What Ashley Morris doesn't like about Cortado Cafe (carefree):
I was charged $3.50 for a large water, which I felt was an outrageous amount. The cashier told me they didn't know how to charge me for just a cup, so they went ahead and charged me for a soda instead, even though I only received tap water. I'm honestly just shocked. It’s worth noting that I had already spent $20 on coffee and food! View all feedback.
Finally stopped into this cute coffee shop with my work colleague and what a treat. Had lunch and it was great. Ordered half sandwich with potato salad. Can I say some yummy. They also have good breakfast menu including protein pancakes and avocado toast. Not only was the nice staff nice they were quick. They do also have a nice selection of bakery items too.
Hello, I am genuinely commenting on this because I really hope it improves and I want to see this coffee shop thrive. The espresso here is so bitter and low quality. I really think if this place is going to call itself a coffee shop, then the priority should be producing good coffee. I’m just disappointed because I spent 7-8 dollars on this latte that I just cannot finish because it was that bad to me and I love coffee. It doesn’t take that much to please me but I know good coffee and I probably had my worse cup from this place. A lot of people who live around the shop knows about this coffee shop and they say the exact same thing “it’s a cool coffee shop, but the coffee sucks.” So I would really suggest figuring out what the issue is so people like me could enjoy your coffee again. I’m pretty sure it’s the bean quality or maybe barista experience, whatever it might be but it’s definitely an issue.
Basic coffee shop with a small group in the Phoenix Metro area. Their cup display includes sizes they don't have, no comment when I ordered the size that's missing. Coffee was okay, not hot06.17.2023 I would have tried a pastry but already had breakfast and decided to save my sugar allowance for later. They looked really good. Coffee appears to have been a light roast again, fruity flavor. I have to remember next time to ask for a medium or possibly even dark. And I'll have to remember next time to make sure they actually put in the half and half I requested
I showed up to this coffee shop at 1:05 PM which was well within their working hours. All of their lights were on and there was a girl working behind the counter with her back turned. I go to open the door and it doesn’t open. I start to knock at the door, thinking that the girl would notice and instead she pretends to not hear me and continues having her back turned to the door. Really bizarre and annoying experience. I was really excited to try this coffee shop and I’m wildly disappointed instead.
This is my favorite Coffee Shop!, my favorite sandwich is the Jalapini always fresh and crunchy bacon made with a Jalapeño cheddar bagel and lettuce, tomato and little bit of cream cheese. My favorite drink is the chai tea and white chocolate mocha iced with almond milk. The staff is always friendly and Maria roasts and makes the best coffee. Be sure to check out the Fine Art while you there.
