The Yard - Phoenix

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary everything was good at first. Our waitress was sweet. However we waiting a long time for our food. We spent more time waiting than eating. They offered an appetizer but we still had to pay for it. We honestly thought it was complimentary but it wasn't. My boyfriend's fried chicken was also cold. We wished we would have had a better experience due to our anniversary that we mentioned about in our reservation.

We sat on the patio which faced a very, very busy street. So the noise level was quite disturbing. Two of our guests had the buttermilk friend chicken and said it was excellent. I had the trout with green beans which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The service was very good but hard to hear the server due to the traffic noise. If you go, I recommend not sitting on the patio.

Overall, the wife and I loved the place and atmosphere. It was a nice night to have dinner with us an another set of friends. The place was a little loud but we eventually got used to it. It was awesome they had a complimentary valet parking for the restaurant. Overall I would say it was a 4.5 out of 5. Our waitress was a little slow but it didn't bother the others since we were all catching up. I just tend to drink a lot of water with my food.

We love the culinary dropout. The outside portion (the yard) is very relaxing and kid friendly. The food is always great and the servers are nice. The inside is too loud, but the live music is cool. We like to order from the bar and sit at the back outdoor tables, and find it works great.

The ambiance and energy is grrat . The food was great. The server is always the person who sets the tone for the dining experience . Our server was Brittany, she is the best . Brittany immediately engaged us and offered many great suggestions . We will ask for her when we are next there. Thank you
