This is our favorite reasonably priced seafood restaurant in the Phoenix area. We 've had many meals there but our most recent one was for lunch. The service was attentive but not pushy and we always enjoy the nautical ambiance. Awesome seafood location. Super easy to find on the corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home road. This is the new location and name of the family operated seafood restaurant that used to be located near 18th Street and Camelback. Sit at the bar for a fun evening with friends or take a table in the dining room. Not cheap but worth every penny!
Husband and I have been to this location and the one in Coronado several times and I am thoroughly pleased every time. I love the atmosphere here and the attentive service. Have been here with and without a reservation and it was a breeze either way. We love their cocktails, however it's the mojito I enjoy most because it's not too strong. Other notables are the captains mai tai (which is delish but too intense for me) and the old fashioned but my husband prefers rum with fish. Appetizers are great that we've tried. We love the crab cakes and the calamari. Most recently we also enjoyed the ahi tartare on crispy rice from the sushi menu and found it to be good as well. My husband's go-to meal is the chipotle blackened swordfish, but we've enjoyed the rockfish (snapper), the lemon pepper mahi mahi and several others as well. Most underwhelming dish for me was the fisherman's platter. I guess I feel like it's not worth getting it at a place like this and not especially notable. Key lime pie is good (little sweet for me) with a delicious crust. I really can't recommend this place enough for a special occasion or when you're in the mood for a treat.

We had the best New England clam chowder that we 've had in a very long time hot, delicious with lots of big pieces of clam. We split a crabcake appetizer and loved the taste and the lightly sauteed crust. We both had a lobster roll with cold lobster salad on a heated, toasted New England style square, open top bun. Both of ours were excellent with lots of lobster meat. Lunch was $112 plus tip so it isn 't cheap but you get what you pay for!
Excellent seafood...did not expect it to be as good as it was...highly recommend
