Green Eggs Cafe - Philadelphia

Omelet was over the top. Service great. Omelet fed 2 of us and we were full with a side of fruit which was an upgrade for only $1.50 and enough for 2 people. Would definitely go back. Cash only.

This is my second time going here and when I say they don’t miss, they don’t miss ?‍?. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a brunch spot in Philly.

I love all the plants! I got the chorizo Benedict and the meat had a slight cinnamon flavor. The potato’s weren’t cooked all the way. Good portion though.

Just delightful from beginning to end. I came because we found this cafe on Google maps as a short walk from our hotel, and I'm a sucker for sweet things. Cookie dough stuffed French toast was enough to get me to commit to coming while we were in Philly.The food and coffee did not disappoint! Cookie dough stuffed French toast is every bit as good as it sounds. I was eating with my infant child, and every consideration was taken by the staff to accommodate us. Particularly Tyler who helped us I to the restaurant and Ox ? From receipt) who took my order. I also had a salted caramel mocha and ordered one to take to my spouse at the last minute. I didn't have to wait long for anything. My order was taken within a few minutes of sitting down, the coffee came out first a few minutes after ordering and the French toast just a few minutes after that. The presentation of the food was also like what you'd expect many restaurants to use as their marketing shot but it was just how mine was plated and the coffee, a mountain of whipped cream and a fancy pattern of mixed drizzle). We really enjoyed our time in the cafe, which was clean and busy but also had a relaxed feel to it. I'll hopefully get to make it out again while I'm here.Kid-friendliness: I came with my infant child.Tyler, who greeted us at the door, held it open to help me get the stroller through. We chatted about how he noticed my child was observant and he let me know he was a photographer and suggested I cultivate their artistic eye. He also offered a high chair even though I had a stroller and hadn't thought to ask for one and he asked about whether I wanted a kids menu, but was aware that at my child's age we might not be feeding him food from restaurants yet. We were given a table with lots of space around it and easy passage to the exit.Other members of the staff were also very friendly with them, the atmosphere wasn't too noisy so they were quite comfortable.Wheelchair accessibility: If you are looking at the entrance head on it looks like there is only a staircase, but as the cafe is part of a plaza, of you are facing the entrance and look left you will see a wheelchair ramp on the other side of the building and if you take that the walkway connects too green egg at the top.

Without question this is the best place to get brunch in the entire city! There is not a single thing I’ve eaten here that didn’t become an instant favorite. I usually get the chicken waffles Benedict when I visit here, it is my absolute favorite thing on their entire menu, but you can’t go wrong with anything you get here. I’ve had the short rib Benedict, which is also nothing short of amazing. All of their French toast options are DELICIOUS! I really enjoy the salted caramel banana French toast, but the cookie dough, pecan pie crème brûlée French toasts are all equally great! Almost everything on the menu is rich decadent in the best way! Their smoothies fresh fruit juices are sooo good. I’ve never been disappointed by any of the specials I’ve tried here. They have one of the best cheesesteak egg rolls I’ve ever experienced. If you’re going to be in the city want to have an amazing breakfast or brunch experience I would definitely visit this place. You will not be disappointed!
