Field House Sports Beer Hall

The sports bar theme may not appeal to everyone, but the Field House manages to excel in this concept. The food is quite good, especially the hearty meal salads with meat. The service is friendly without being intrusive, and the prices are very reasonable. The large booths are roomy, surprisingly private for such a big area, and come with their own televisions.

This sports bar had a designated area for patrons who weren't there to watch the Eagles game, which was a nice touch for non-Eagles fans. Unfortunately, during our visit on a Sunday, they were experiencing satellite issues that couldn't be resolved, so we ended up leaving midway through the second quarter. The service was excellent, and I wish we could have stayed longer if the issues had been sorted out.

This place should be considered primarily a sports bar rather than a full-service restaurant. The quality doesn’t match that of most other restaurants listed on OpenTable, and it shouldn't just be judged on price.
