This is our favorite French restaurant in Philadelphia by any measure! The seven-course meal was exquisite. My personal highlights were the watercress soup, the foie gras, and, to top it all off, the best white chocolate soufflé I've ever tasted!
Exceptional food, attentive service, and a wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant is both intimate and elegant, striking a perfect balance without being overly formal or pretentious. It was a true pleasure to speak with Chef Calmels after our meal. The tasting menu was meticulously crafted, with the flavors in each course beautifully complementing those of the previous ones. The kitchen's execution was remarkable. While I haven't dined at every restaurant in Philadelphia, this could very well be the best one we've experienced.
