The staff memb... read more I walked into the restaurant, which was completely empty, and requested a table. When asked if we had a reservation, I mentioned that we did not. The staff member informed us that they were extremely busy. I glanced behind him and remarked, "It doesn't look very busy to me." He then responded in a condescending tone, stating that they were waiting for many reservations. It was 8:30 and they were closing at 9, yet no one else arrived after us. Save your money and choose a place with better service.

My husband had the New Yor... read more As for the food, I had the beef crostini appetizer, which was outstanding, and the walleye, which was excellent and cooked perfectly. My husband had the New York strip with fries, and he enjoyed that as well. We also shared a bottle of wine.

Reservations were handled by Yelp which was eas... read more For my wife's Birthday Dinner, I chose an upscale restaurant located in the Indian Casino in Petoskey, Michigan. Reservations were handled by Yelp which was easy to do but hard to reconfirm...you had to download their APP. The good was that the food was excellent, the service worthy. The negatives were that the food, while coming out hot and tasty was agonizingly slow to come out. The entire event took a bit more than 2 hours which is long even by up North Michigan standards. It would have been nice if the Manager had worn a tie and coat to seat the guests but most patrons didn't dress up so I guess he fit in with the majority of the patrons. Overall it was a pleasant evening. There were 6 of us.

The meal includes potatoes and a vegetable, and the prime rib was of excellent quality. My wife ordered the walleye and found it to be fantastic. On previous visits, she had the perch and enjoyed that as well. My sister-in-law, who is a local resident, also ordered the walleye and claimed it was the best she's had in the area.
