I visited this restaurant last week with a couple of friends for a glass of wine. The decor is that of an upscale cottage - classy yet cozy. We ended up getting some food as a second thought but are SO glad we did! We were told that the chef was a first time head chef but you wouldn't know it! She's fantastic and every bite was delicious! Very impressive! The service was prompt and attentive. I will definitely be visiting again with an appetite!

The building itself is very historic and the décor is lovely. Found the staff slow and somewhat standoffish. The prices were very high for a glass of wine. The appetizer board was very sparse.

My wife and I wanted to go somewhere new and special for our 20th anniversary dinner. We tried out The Lounge by Lignum and were very impressed. The decor inside is upscale yet relaxed and inviting. The food is both creative and delicious. The service was attentive without being too much. We really enjoyed our Christmas experience and highly recommend it to others.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after a morning hockey game and were pleasantly surprised. The portions were satisfying and the service was excellent.
