The staff was wonderful, the food was good and the coffee was hot. I loved the ambiance of the place and the staff treated you like had been coming there for yrs.. I was very very impressed that they supported the " suspended meal program". The food came quickly and the wait staff were great, but the food could have been better. When I asked afterwards about the Supreme Belgian waffle I'd had, the waitress said that they use real whipped cream on it when they have it, but they didn't have it when I was there. The Speak Easy has a simple menu with many choices. I had the club wrap with fries and my friend had the fish and chips. It was excellent great quality, not greasy, and served quickly. I would definitely eat here again and I would also love to try their breakfast menu. The eggs Benedict looked very good.
Good hangover breakfast!. It's all the same...it's hard to screw up eggs, bacon and toast. haha...I liked the atmosphere and the owner was a cool chick!
Okay. Good breakfast every time, but nothing too special. It's often busy, so the layout can feel very crowded. Fast and inexpensive. Good service.
The service was excellent - fast and delicious. The prices were very reasonable. When you walk in, you are transported back in time to the prohibition era with a unique and entertaining ambiance. I loved every moment of my dining experience.
The servers are great and very friendly as is the owner, Vicky. Breakfast is just okay because they deep fry the bacon and sausage and serve frozen fries. The breakfast would be awesome if only they 'd cook the bacon and sausage properly and serve fresh actual home fries, NOT DEEP FRIED! French fries should fresh, home made as well and it 's actually cheaper for a restaurant to make their own AND they could actually charge a little more 'cause they 'd be so much better. Please stop relying on the deep fryer so much.
