Silk Roots - Peterborough

I have dined in and ordered delivery from this restaurant multiple times. The food is fantastic, incredibly flavorful, and always fresh. The delivery is also very fast!

On one particular evening, my family decided to go out for dinner and after everyone submitted their choices, my partner suggested Silk Roots Fusion Cuisine. Initially, I had reservations about the name but I was pleasantly surprised. This charming restaurant located on a main street in Peterborough offers delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. The staff were very friendly and attentive, serving us promptly once we placed our orders. The prices were reasonable and the portions were very generous. After a long day without a proper meal, the food filled me up and was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the tasty salad. The service was quick, the atmosphere clean and welcoming, and the staff polite and smiling. With all these great qualities, I would definitely give it a 5-star rating. Just like Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'll be back!

We were told our takeout order would be ready in 15 minutes, but it took 35 minutes to get our food. It was busy, but they were aware of that. Despite the wait, the food was excellent as always. I ordered the beef dupiaze wrap which was delicious with fresh ingredients. My partner also enjoyed her falafel.

Great service and very kind. Have been here a few times and every visit the food and service gets better and better!

Silk Roots is our go-to for hot and delicious Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Everything we've had there, and we've tried almost everything, is so so flavourful and tasty, I end up craving it on a weekly basis. The owner and chef of the restaurant, a husband and wife team, are super friendly and happy to suggest items if you're a first timer or just looking to try something new.
