Island Cream Caribbean Cuisine

Very reasonably priced, tried the doubles, aloo pie and chicken roti. All very tasty!

This is definitely one of my all time favorite restaurants!! No joke I've been coming here for about a decade and this place is the definition of delicious,

We love the food at Island Cream. We have only used take out. Everything from the oxtail dinner, jerk chicken and roti have been delicious every time. I especially love their roti - best ever - very good flavour and just enough heat - not over the top. My husband, who is from the Caribbean, loves the oxtail and jerk chicken. We order ahead, then pick up. Very nice owners also.

Very tasty roti. I've read a few didn't care for it, but isn't that always the case? Can't please all the people all the time. Go with the vast majority on this one..at least certainly worth trying and deciding for yourself. I've had rotis from "the best" roti places in T.O., and these easily hold their own against them. Don't know why they don't spruce the place up a bit, but the roti more than makes up for it, in my opinion.

I recently moved to Peterborough, and discovered this restaurant almost by accident. It's cluttered and disorganized, but no more so than any of the island jerk shacks that I've visited. The food is terrific, and I love that I can get salt fish and ackee right in downtown Ptbo!
