The staff was friendly, but the slot machines were too tight. I played for an hour and spent $50, but only won $10. I like going to the casino to relax and play slots, but when the machines are tight, it's not enjoyable. Many people I know feel the same way about this place. What User doesn't like about Leelanau Sands Casino Lodge:
I recently spoke with the manager of the campground, and it was a frustrating experience. He mentioned increasing the nightly fee from $10 to $25, which seemed unreasonable. It appears they are trying to overcharge campers who didn't even stay overnight. It seems like they are trying to profit at the expense of others. I am done with this place and will not be returning. It is a small casino, it seems to me the machine was old and dated. my wife won something, you must have your own mind.
Nice place, low key. maybe a handful of gamblers. beautiful view of the bay from our room and love the small town atmosphere
If you are not into big crowds and enjoy more relaxed atmosphere then this Casino is for you. Fairly small casino a little out of the hustle and bustle of Traverse City.
My husband and I had a great time for New Years Eve and the staff are very friendly
Always a great time. People their treat you like Family not just another person dropping a few dollars, And the people at the lodge Always treat you with respect, Always nice and clean rooms very comfortable beds, Not to mention the Great water pressure in the shower.. WE JUST LOVE COMING UP SPENDING TIME..
