Great food, fast and professional service and good location. We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant in the area and ended up coming back, owing to the good menu with a variety of options offered. The price is also convenient, as the set menus comprise several sumptuous courses.

The restaurant has been refurbished last July and the interior designers had great ideas about the use of plants and flowers (see pictures). It is really very nice and resembles a Nordic restaurant with lots of wood and green. The food equals the ambiente. A wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options (including pizza) is available. We took a veggie burger a tagliere chiccoteca and spinach ravioloni. All excellent. In particular the tagliare provided a taste of many dishes they offer and I really enjoyed it. If you go during the week-end be aware of long waiting time. Personel is very kind, and even though sometimes they mess up the order, they are always problem solving oriented.

New Year's Eve dinner at Chiccoteca. I must say that although I'm not a fan of vegetarian or vegan cuisine, the dishes on the New Year's Eve menu convinced me. Light and appetizing appetizers, followed by interesting and beautifully presented main courses, with attention to detail and just the right portions (neither too much nor too little). The lasagna was truly delicious, as were the lentils, the latter a tribute to our tradition. We immediately enjoyed a welcome aperitif with excellent Prosecco, and finished with a captivating dessert of pandoro and cream. The coffee also seemed good quality. The service was impeccable, with attentive, punctual, and never intrusive wait staff. The organization and timing of the various courses seemed truly Swiss-style, without forcing us between courses. On New Year's Eve, there was an astrological prediction that, for my personal taste, went on for too long. I did, however, appreciate the musical entertainment provided by a young local woman, who deserved more space. The chefs did an excellent job of plating and presenting the meals, and for that, they deserve credit. Given my initial prejudice against this type of cuisine, I must say that Chiccoteca passed my exams with flying colors, both in terms of content and organization of the evening. The price was appropriate for the New Year's Eve menu, the service, the overall setting, and the general atmosphere, filled with regulars and connoisseurs whose palates have been refined over the many years of operating this establishment. A positive experience for those looking to try something different.
