Had dinner here after a recomendation. eating was decent, although I expected a lil more from what others mentioned here, I think the menu has changed so that some of the old favorites are no longer available. large portion sizes make a good buck for in comparison to many other restaurants out there.

As the other commentary of reviews, this place is definitiw now nothing like the old old old crow very short menu, friendly but unophisticated service (Brussels sprouts were introduced as edible color as tasty picture language as the others have already been mentioned, we were informed about the change of management at an instant. that sat strange with me; when they buy a business, it is name and it call, they do not work hard to replicate the experience and quality people are used so that they return in the future? it felt a bit like they were talking out before we started eating at all, was actually ok (lamb shoulder) but expensive for what it was probably not going to hit back.

The service, the ambiente and the eating have fallen since the new property taking into account the new owners. the manager seemed in the night when we went to be very grim, drink selection was average eating was ok, but very expensive for the portion size. I went before the change of property and eating, cocktails, service and ambiente were fantastic. will not be back.

Considering that we went on a public holiday, it was unsatisfactory for the kind of service and food provided There was a good half an hour wait for my buttermilk chicken burger and my partner's Greek beef burger. The presentation of the meal was less appealing than I thought. I was anticipating a buttermilk taste to my chicken burger, but sadly there was none. The chicken meat was too dry, coupled with tasteless coleslaw. To top it up, the chips served on the side were over fried, tasteless and served without sauce. I should've duck across the road for a McChicken meal instead This may well be our first and last trip to the old crow, I'm afraid.

Recently visited again on Friday night after having been several times before and was severely disappointed. The Old Crow was one of my absolute favourite places and the change of staff/menu/ownership is not up to their former standard. The entire food region has changed (from southern american, to more Spanish style) and although the food was decent enough this time it wasn't the wow' I had been expecting knowing what they used to serve. The loss of the bread and fennel butter to start was greatly missed. The drinks menu was quite dimished and a bit lacklustre in comparison. The service was quite hit and miss and I'm actually pretty devastated also and a little annoyed that the original...read more
